Choenyi has a life-long obsession with sound itself—and a penchant for self-experimentation via interference patterns, the findings of which form, in large part, the aesthetic basis of his production.

He assumes that all sound directly manipulates the brain wave patterns of the hearer/listener, attentive listeners being poised for more significant (and useable) results from this inherent relationship.

Choenyi began DJing (in Northern California) in 1996 and composing electronic audio works in 1999. His first releases are available at the deservedly well-respected Miniatura and Yuki Yaki netlabel.   Choenyi is also assistant head A&R manager for Random Access Recordings.  May all be well.
